McCarthy + Co Solicitors LLP is a family-run law firm providing legal services to clients across Ireland. The firm specialises in personal injury, medical negligence, family law, and conveyancing, and is known for its friendly, efficient, and modern approach to delivering personalised, high-quality legal services.

I began working with McCarthy + Co in 2019, overseeing their content strategy and helping them to strengthen authority signals around their domain. In 2023, the firm’s leadership team hired me to redesign and rebuild their website, which had become outdated and was built on a framework that proved challenging for non-technical staff to manage.

The Solution

At the start of 2023, I rebuilt the website on a user-friendly WordPress framework tailored for non-technical users. This empowered the internal team to manage and update content independently, significantly reducing reliance on developer support.

The new site architecture was designed from the ground up to enhance internal linking and navigability, with page layouts optimised for user experience and conversion. Prominent calls to action were strategically placed above the fold to better direct visitors towards priority outcomes.

Alongside the rebuild, I created a data-led content strategy based on keyword research, enabling the firm to capture search visibility in new and emerging business areas.
